The Twisty is a glass blunt from 7pipe which is suppose to represent the start of the paperless revolution.
7pipe is one of a handful of companies focused on creating devices to smoke cannabis that don’t require paper and the Twisty is a great example, it delivers all the fun of smoking a blunt without the extra hassle of buying the wrap or rolling.
This product fits into the same group as Purple Rose Supply’s cannagar mold which was another paperless device we reviewed earlier this year.

QUALITY OF CONSTRUCTION
The Twisty Glass Blunt is both a clever idea and a solid piece of engineering.
In case you’re wondering, we got the standard size unit which can hold up to 2 grams (more on the larger devices in a moment). The blunt tube is made from heat-resistant Pyrex glass and the left-handed screw which forms the core mechanism is made from brass and coated in their proprietary 6-layer titanium coating. Other items included in the box are a replacement O-ring, a microfiber travel pouch, and 2 silicone end caps.
The total size of the Twisty Glass Blunt measures in at 3.75 inches in length and 5/8 of an inch in width. There are 6 different sizes to choose from so they’ve gone to great lengths to try to accommodate everyone:
- The Twisty Glass Blunt and Twisty Glass Titanium both hold 2 grams of dried flower
- Twisty Glass Mini holds a half gram
- Twisty Glass Slim holds 1.3 grams
- Twisty XL holds 4 grams
- Super Twisty (aka Budzooka) can hold a staggering 2 ounces
EASE OF USE
This product eliminates the need for rolling papers and rolling in general. It was straightforward to load and their website has plenty of tips to help you get savvy with the device.
While testing this out in the public sphere we received lots of excited inquiries and interested reactions. Literally every fellow toker that saw this device either wanted one or asked if we sold them directly. The shock of how smooth the hits are, the lack of need for rolling skills or papers and grins when using the Twisty Blunt speak to a truly great product to use.
We try to be cautious with our glass products after breaking so many of them over the years but sure enough we dropped the glass tube and broke it before we could even try. This was our fault though not theirs but Jeff from 7Pipe was awesome to deal with and quickly sent out a replacement.
In terms of firing it up for the first time, we started with a full 2 grams of ground up dried flower, then after it was finished, reloaded another 2 grams and continued this process to see how long we could go before having to clean. So after about 2 or 3 reloads, we needed to clean the screw, glass, and air holes of resin buildup since it was too sticky to reload again. The neat discovery with this process was that the bud flavour is not compromised unless we were to mix strains which we could easily have done.
OVERALL VALUE
The Twisty Glass Blunt is available from 7Pipe’s website for $39.99 USD. It’s a solid product that does exactly what it says and will easily pays for itself will the money you’ll save from buying wraps. However we’d suggest stocking up on a decent glass cleaner like Pink Formula just to give it a rinse every few days.
Spend the extra 10 bucks and get the $49.99 Twisty Glass Original Combo because it has everything mentioned above and includes 2 replacement glass tubes along with a carry case that adds more protection for travelling.
