Cann Social Tonic are cannabis infused bubbly beverages that feature 2 mg of THC and 4 mg of CBD.
Currently they are available in three distinct flavours that include Blood Orange Cardamom, Lemon Lavender and Grapefruit Rosemary. Cann also indicates they use not-from-concentrate juice and all-natural flavouring so we’re expecting a nice tasting beverage.
It will be interesting to see how this drink compares to Tweed’s Houndstooth & Soda.

Smell
We got one of each flavour to fully assess the quality of the product. Smells of fresh grapefruit and rosemary came from that baby pink can, Sweet lemon with a hint of lavender from pastel yellow, and strong smells of orange with undertones of cardamon from the pastel orange can. The aromas take over your senses clearing the way for your taste buds.
Appearance
Cann’s Social Tonic comes in a box of 4 and depending on what flavours you get your can could be dressed in a beautiful baby pink (Grapefruit / Rosemary), pastel orange (Blood Orange / Cardamom) or pastel yellow (Lemon / Lavender). Although limited by design restrictions, Cann got the job done by the perfect colour selections and by adding a touch of their logo/ design to the front of the can. As we opened the can, you can hear that snap and sizzle that we all love! When pouring that bubbly, the smells fill your nose with a sweet punch.
Flavour
Grapefruit & Rosemary brings the punch with a sparkling sweetness and tiny sour kick from the grapefruit, but a smoothing rosemary that stays with the aftertaste. Delicious delight that overpowers any kind of cannabis flavour.
Lemon & Lavender was definitely not as we expected, and turned out to be our favourite. Hint of lavender when you first sip with a sweet lemon soda water flavour. Very refreshing in a cold glass with ice on a hot summer day.
Blood Orange & Cardamom is a light orange citrus soda water with a sweet smoothing cardamom bite. This one is definitely our runner up after the lemon & lavender.
Experience
These social drinks give a perfect dosage for beginners interested in trying cannabis or even the advanced stoner trying to catch that discreet buzz. Definitely a bit too light for us, I’m sure if we knocked down a few we could get totally stoned but smoking cannabis is definitely a preferred way to consume. The drinks are very similar to alcoholic coolers but doesn’t come with a hangover, so you feel replenished the next day! Overall Cann is the perfect social drink for all types of cannabis consumers. Coming in at 2mg THC and 4mg CBD makes it a great way to micro dose or maintain a high in an environment that you can’t smoke.
