Sunset Sherbet is an indica dominant strain that was created by crossing Girl Scout Cookies (GSC) with Pink Panties.
Citizen Stash describes this strain as featuring a sweet, dessert-like flavour profile with undertones skunky citrus mixed with sweet berry. In terms of smell, most users report an aroma that combines bubble-gum with sweet berries. According to Citizen Stash, Sunset Sherbet flowers into fluffy buds with dark hairs, speckled green leaves and a thick layer of trichomes. We’ve reviewed several Citizen Stash products and for the most part think they are great especially their Mac 1 strain. So how does their Sunset Sherbet compare?

Smell
Citizen Stash’s Sunset Sherbet arrived in the same container as their previous products – industry standard white plastic with resealable security top. Given past Citizen Stash products and the description of this one, we expected to get to hit with a sweet berry aroma, but after cracking off the lid we only detected a moderately strong lemony herbal smell and even it took a few deep inhales to coax it out. A big of a disappoint as we expected something much stronger and sweeter.
Appearance
We dumped the buds out of the container and the first thing our eyes locked onto was a thick stem. However the buds themselves were medium in size, heavily saturated in trichomes and consisted of mainly of two light tones; green and orange. Even though a moisture shield was included, we found the buds to be pretty dry and the above average amount of stem is an eye-sore. Definitely not the best looking product we’ve seen from Citizen Stash.
Flavour
Given average smell, we were hoping the flavour would deliver more punch and it turned out we were right. Pretty much from the first inhale the lemon sherbet flavour hits immediately but after a few tokes it fades into a much softer herbal for the remainder of the session. Overall not a bad flavour but it still felt subpar given the wonderful description of this strains taste (and a primary reason people love it).
Experience
Sunset Sherbet from Citizen Stash started off a bit rocky (appearance and flavour) but luckily finished up strong. The product delivered a very strong high that combined a strong mental distraction coupled with a heavy body feeling that may appeal to you or may not – depending on the reason for using. One thing to note, this product was originally listed at $51.95 for 3.5 grams which is definitely not worth it. However we noticed it’s on sale now for $36.96 which is much more reasonable given the THC content of 20.9%. Overall a good product, but at the same time our least favourite from Citizen Stash.
