Compound Genetics and Cookies teamed up to create the balanced hybrid strain Apples & Bananas.
It’s lineage started with a combination of Platinum Cookies and Granddaddy Purple being crossed with a Blue Power male. That result was then bred with Gelatti to produce Apples and Bananas. The buds are suppose to be dark purple, dense and smell like cherries, apples and bananas with subtle undertone of gas which also carries into the flavour profile like a baked apple and banana dessert.
We’re curious how it stacks up to Cookies Cheetah P strain which we just reviewed last week.

Smell
Apples & Bananas had a very sweet and fruity aroma with a hint of pepper. There was also an earthy/musky undertone after grinding however overall there is a distinct skunky dank. As we took a deep inhale there was a noticeable smell of red apples when we concentrated on the smell. It reminded us of a sweet fruit punch juice box, delicious.
Appearance
The produce arrived in the uniform, baby blue plastic Cookies pouch with the THC and terpene percentages, dominant terpenes listed on the label, which is key for us. The flower itself is absolutely gorgeous looking buds. Very dark tones of green and purple forming the shape of a bud with orange hairs all over, and clear white crystals all over like Tinker Bell’s glitter.
Flavour
Joints rolled with this bud produce very thick and flavourful smoke. There was a very strong taste of sweet fruit followed by a nutty, sort of earthy taste. We can definitely see why cookies named this one apples and bananas because the flavour is pretty smack on to it.
Experience
Listed at 23% THC content and a price tag of $39.99 for 3.5 grams, we found Cookies delivered a knockout bud but it is a bit steep for few so we will only be picking this up on special occasions. Very full body sedative high that puts your mind and worries at ease. Can cause the mind to pause at times but can also channel deep thinking and creative outlooks. We recommend smoking after a long day to take the stress away or right before bed so your mind doesn’t wander too far.
