In terms of aroma, users report a funky, lemon cake smell with is amplified by a sweet gelato and cake flavour profile. Cookies describes the buds are dark green with purple specks and a heavy coating of frosty trichomes. We’re curious how this compares to other gelato strains like RIFF’s Hell Cat 33.
Smell
Cheetah P arrived from Cookies in a medium blue plastic pouch sealed to perfection to help guarantee freshness. We tore into the package and were hit with a super pungent but surprisingly pleasant aroma. We found it hard to describe but it did feature sweet floral notes, followed by woody, earthy and diesel. There was no containing the smell so do not open if you’re trying to be discreet as nothings stopping this Cheetah from pissing.
Appearance
On the outside of the bag you can find terpene and THC percentages plus a breakdown of the dominant terpenes (we love seeing the producers include this information). Now the buds themselves were absolutely beautiful looking. They were medium sized, bright green with purple features and tightly curled orange pistils. Covered in trichomes, super dense with the perfect trim makes this one a great looking strain.
Flavour
The flavour will confuse the heck out of you. Is it sweet? Is it gassy? Is it citrusy? Or none? Honestly, we thought it tasted like fruity wood that had been (Cheetah) pissed on 3 days ago. Not a very overwhelming taste and also hard to identify exactly. Although with a terpene ratio of 4%, we did have higher hopes for something a little more flavourful especially when you compare to Cookies Apples & Bananas strain.
Experience
Listed with 27.2% THC content and a price tag of $39.99 for 3.5 grams, we found Cheetah P from Cookies instantly delivered a super chill-out high that knocked out any negative thoughts we were feeling. It produced a positive euphoric vibe, boosting our mood and sparking inner creativity. This was a full body couch-lock that causes the body to start tingling and the come down was a very calming after-effect with a smooth landing and didn’t really get any munchies with this one nor that sleepy/groggy feeling. We reviewed Cookies Gary Payton strain last year but preferred this one much more.
