Pink Octane is an indica-dominant strain produced by Greenseal with an undisclosed lineage.
They said the abundance of frosty trichomes covering the buds hint at the overall potency. Plus, this phenotype is suppose to exude a sweet and nutty taste with hints of funky fuel notes, providing a unique sensory experience. Let’s see how this flower compares to Greenseal’s Gorilla Berry.

Smell
Upon opening the bag of Pink Octane, we did not initially detect a strong aroma. Instead, were met with a mild scent reminiscent of sweet cardboard with a hint of hay. While the lack of a distinct odor may be disappointing for some, it may be a desirable trait for those who prioritize discretion and privacy. However, the subtle fragrance does not reflect its potency or quality.
Appearance
The flower arrived without a humidity pack, which could have impacted the products terpenes. While the buds weren’t particularly dry, they also weren’t as squishy as we generally prefer. Despite this, the medium-sized buds were adorned with an eye-catching trichomes, displaying various shades of green and purple speckles. The appearance was the highlight of the product, as the nugs’ striking visual appeal hinted at the potency and quality within.
Flavour
When smoked through a bong, Pink Octane burned evenly, leaving behind a salt and pepper ash that verged on white. In terms of taste, the experience was inconsistent, with some hits delivering a smooth and enjoyable experience while others were harsher and less enjoyable. This unpredictability may not be ideal for some users who prefer a more consistent experience. Despite this, the high produced was satisfactory, though not particularly noteworthy in the crowded market of cannabis strains.
Experience
Our Pink Octane was part of lot number PO31322 which was packaged on December 16, 2022. With a THC content of 26.7% and a price of $35.95 for 3.5 grams, we found the price to be a bit steep considering the overall quality of the product. As a self-proclaimed fans of gassy strains, we had hopes for Pink Octane, but unfortunately, the product didn’t deliver in terms of aroma or taste. While the high was satisfactory, it was not enough to make up for the lackluster flavour and inconsistent hits. In our opinion, Pink Octane may be better suited for consumption in a joint rather than a bong. Ultimately, while it’s not a terrible product, but not our favourite from this brand.
