The Stinger 2 is an Electric Nectar Collector from Human Sucks that supposedly creates the purest flavour while making dabbing easier and less messy because you don’t need a torch or lighter.
One of the devices most impressive traits is the ability to heat up in 5 seconds or less eliminating the need for a lot of preparation. The battery is also suppose to be long lasting which means you can use it for longer periods of time without recharging. We’re curious how this device compares to something like Stone Smiths Vape Pens.

QUALITY OF CONSTRUCTION
The Stinger electric nectar collector is about the same size as a camping flash light (1 1/8″ in diameter and 5 3/4″ in length with the cap on), however even though the unit is light at 168 grams or 0.37 lbs, it still feels like a quality device.
The base unit came with the following:
- 10 x super-fine cleaning q-tips
- 1 x extra heating tip
- 1 x stainless steel concentrate double-ended poker tool
- 1 x USB to USB-C charging cable
- 1 x Branded silicone concentrate container (1 1/4″ in diameter, 5/8″ thick)
- 1 x 2000mAh battery.
In addition to the main Stinger unit we got the Glass Bubbler attachment which was designed to further smooth the smoke by adding a water pipe.
It’s made from blown glass and fits very securely onto the end of Stinger. Standing upright 3″ tall, 2 3/4″ in length and 1 1/4″ wide and holds about 15 – 20 ml of water. Plus, they made it from borosilicate glass which has excellent chemical and heat resistance properties.
EASE OF USE
Using the Stinger is easy as it can be turned on or off with 5 rapid presses.
You can either use by continuously by holding the button or the using the 12 second auto-heat feature that is started by simply pressing the button twice. Once heating starts the device vibrates and then vibrates again after 5 seconds when ready for use.
Another handy feature is the automatic shut-down. If you forget to turn it off, don’t worry because it will remember for you. The unit automatically shuts down when it hasn’t been used for 5 minutes.
It also has 4 temperature settings that are colour-coded:
- Green (default 550F/287C)
- Purple (620F/326C)
- Blue (680F/360C)
- Orange (800F/426C)
The battery lasted for 60 sessions of about 17-seconds each before needing to recharge (the actual recharging took around 2 – 3 hours).
Our experience with the Stinger was great as we found it very smooth on inhale and we were surprised by how well it kept the flavour profile intact. This device is ideal for sticky concentrates like rosin and oil because you can consume them directly out of the container which minimizes the overall mess.
The glass bubbler definitely improved the overall experience and if you’re already a fan of bongs and water pipes then this attachment is a must.
OVERALL VALUE
While the Stinger Electric Nectar Collector Kit is not cheap, it’s worth the money if you enjoy using concentrates on a regular basis. The device does a fine job without the glass bubbler but adding it enhances the experience quite a bit and given the reasonable price for the attachment it’s worth the price.
One of the nicest parts of this device is how it minimzes the mess because normally when we deal with concentrates or extracts they end up all over the place. The Stinger from Human Sucks definitely helped control the mess while not sacrificing any of the flavour.

If you’re into smoking cannabis extracts like rosin, oil or shatter then you’re going to appreciate how this device makes the entire process quicker and not nearly as messy.
