This is our first encounter with LowKey however we’re optimistic since they’re part of the MTL Cannabis network.
LowKey’s Amnesia Haze is a sativa-dominant cultivar that was created by crossing Haze, Southeast Asian, Hawaiian and Jamaican landrace strains. Users report this strain having a citrusy, fruity, and earthy flavour that is further amplified with a sweetness on exhale. The buds are described as being fluffy, sticky and covered in light orange hairs, plus this flower can exceed 25% in terms of THC content putting it in the very strong to potent category.
It will be interesting to see how this compare’s to something like Super Lemon Haze.

The product arrived in an industry standard small metallic lime green bag with resealable zipper opening. As soon as we tore it open, the moderately strong but sweet smell of citrus was released which made our noses tingle. Overall we would describe the aroma as having undertones of earthy, gassy in addition to the primary sweet aromas.
The packaging is a beautiful lime green metallic that definitely has the potential to stand out from other brands. On the bag you can find the terpene percentage, the dominant terpenes and the lineage of the bud which is a super easy to read for anyone new to cannabis. The bag is resealable, reusable and came nitrogen filled which is always a plus!
As you can see from the photos, the buds were a thick fluffy light green with dark green highlights and beautiful curly orange hairs. As we broke the bud down we felt the sticky trichomes clinging to our fingers and as we emptied the grinder we got beautiful crumbles that almost looked alive . Even after grinding up and leaving it out on the tray for over 24 hours it still didn’t dry out!
If you’re smoking this flower out of a bong then expect a citrusy inhale and a sweet exhale, followed by an earthy aftertaste. That being said we found it a tad harsh out the bong but that could just be our weak lungs. If you’re smoking joints then you’ll notice a limey, citrusy inhale but a very gassy and diesel exhale. Of course this method wasn’t as harsh compared to the bong but it really comes down to individual preference.
Listed with 24.5% THC content and a price tag of $27.50 for 3.5 grams, we found LowKey’s Haze strain delivered a near immediate head high after smoking. This was a very creative, focused and talkative strain, however we don’t recommend smoking before bed as our minds were flooded with thoughts including slight sensations of anxiety. Nonetheless this would make a great daytime high, wake n’ bake or maybe even a quick smoke before you head out in the morning (talk about a shot of espresso). However we preferred Thumbs Up’s Amnesia x Super Haze cross a little more.
