Mellow Fellow Warhols Pineapple Express Pre-Rolls came packaged in a 3.5 gram five pack jar, with each individual joint containing 0.7 grams of the classic Pineapple Express strain in CBD flower form. The rolls were also infused with MF’s own magical mixture of hemp-extracted cannabinoids including THCv, H4CBD, CBG, and HHC, which provided a fairly mild but noticeably uplifting and focused buzz attached to a lot of fresh, natural flavor. Smell
The initial smell from the jar was a creamy and zesty combination of pineapple, grapefruit, and lime. There were also noticeable backing notes of pine, cedar, and an underlying cheese funk that almost made it smell similar to a nice fruity cheesecake. Overall, the sweet dessert-like scent of these MF pre-rolls came across as quite pleasant and enticing.
Appearance
Each joint was 0.7 grams in weight with a consistently tight roll and they were nicely dusted with kief on the outside. Although somewhat small, the pre-rolls contained a long filter tip which added to the size and made them easier for handling while smoking. They burned fairly slow and consistent with no runs or need to re-light along the way, resulting in a very solid smoke session.
Flavour
The taste was very similar to the scent, with a bit more of the citrus and pineapple edges and a beautifully vibrant profile overall. There was also an extra creaminess in the flavor that mellowed out the brighter tangy edges of the fruit tones and gave it a really smooth finish that was uniquely delicious. This is one of those striking flavor combinations that will linger in your head long after you’ve finished smoking the jar.
Experience
The buzz was quickly noticeable while smoking the first pre-roll and gave me an uplifting heady nudge with the first couple of puffs. After a few minutes, there was more of an energetic high that left me feeling creative, productive, and extremely focused. By the time the joint was finished, I was definitely ready to tackle a few projects and get some chores done.
