Olli’s Meyer Lemon Poppyseed Cakes contains two premium cupcakes with a promise of a refreshing Meyer Lemon taste, mixed with the subtle taste of poppyseed. Plus these mini cakes are an even 1:1 edible meaning they include both 10mg of THC and CBD. Time to see if these cakes are invited to the tea party.
It will be interesting to see how this compares to other sweet treats like Slowride Bakery’s Big Chocolate Cookie.

Smell
Opening the blue resealable bag there was that standard baked goods smell you would normally associate with cakes or the baked goods section of a grocery store. I could also smell a very subtle undertone of lemon.
Appearance
Both pieces were the standard mini cupcake size, so it would have been nice if they were a little bit bigger. Aside from that the cake looked to be very crumbly as a few chunks ended up falling off as I tried to get the product out of the bag. The poppy seeds were very present throughout.
Flavour
The cake was dry and like I mentioned above very crumbly. It would have been nice if they could have retained some of the moisture. I didn’t taste the lemon much but the poppyseed flavours were much more present and maybe most importantly there wasn’t any cannabis taste or aftertaste.
Experience
It cost me $9.95 and had a total 10mg of THC and CBD with 5mg being inside each cake. However I didn’t really notice a buzz at all which is likely due to my elevated tolerance, but the cakes themselves were pleasant even though they would have better if they hadn’t been so dry. If you have low tolerance to edibles and want something different from gummies or chocolate then this are worth trying out. If you drink coffee or tea then I think these would pair nicely with those beverages.
