Redecan’s Wappa is an indica-dominant strain with strong THC potency and described as being a combination of green and yellow colours.
The strain is known for a strong yet sweet aroma that verges on skunkiness, which clearly comes through in the flavour profile. Redecan indicates this strain is grown inside a greenhouse with natural lighting conditions before the plants are hang-dried, hand-trimmed, sterilized and inspected before packaging. This sound nice, but how does this flower compare to Redecan’s Black Cherry Punch or their Outlaw strain?

Smell
First, before we even could smell the product we had to get through all the packaging. Wappa came in a contain that was inside another box. This feels like over-packaging. Anyway, we finally got the container opened and the aroma was a warm sweet herbal scent. Not bad but more work than necessary.
Appearance
Wappa looks nice. The buds are spongy and dense with vibrant shades of green and interlaced with bronze hairs. We were very surprised to find some undeveloped seeds.
Flavour
Redecan has a sweet smoky herbal wood tasting bud here. Its a nice sweet tone. Not too strong, not too weak. Just like how the smell was not overpowering but still pleasant, we’d put the flavour in a similar category.
Experience
This sweet herbal bud finishes with a strong mellow buzz which is very relaxing and complimentary to the soothing aroma and flavour. We liked Wappa but would love to see Redecan eliminate some of the excess packaging.

I have no idea what you’re talking about with regards to excessive packaging? It’s in an oversized pill bottle and that bottle is inside a cardboard box that’s very thin very minimal cardboard. How much less would you like?

They are the only brand we’ve seen that pack their plastic container inside a cardboard box (why the extra layer of packaging?). But they never include a humidity shield inside the container which would actually make a difference and improve the product. Drop the extra layer of useless cardboard and spend it on a humidity shield so the flower stays fresher longer.

I agree ! I like Redecan products except for how dry their buds are with all their strains. It would be much better to get rid of the unnecessary box and throw in a humidity pack to improve the quality of their products. Have a great day David .

Lets keep our fingers crossed they do this. Have a great weekend Greg!
