Triangle Mints is a 70/30 sativa-dominant hybrid of the legendary OG Triangle Kush and Animal Mints, which itself is a descendant of the popular Girl Scout Cookies family of strains.
This breed was originally brought to life by Seed Junky Genetics, but now the Adelanto-based cannabists known as Rêveur have picked up the gauntlet by putting their own refreshing spin on this modern classic. Clocking in at a whopping 38% THC level, I expected this bag to be strong as a minty-fresh ox, and it certainly did not disappoint in that regard.
Let’s see how this compares to other flowers like Boss OG from Cabana or the potent London Pound Cake from MG.

Smell
The bag did give off a wave of minty aroma when I cracked it open for the first time, living up well to it’s given name. The kush part of the mix stood out strongly in the scent department, leaving behind a sharp diesel edge backed up by herbal and spicy chords, with even a hint of honey to finish it off. The smell of this flower came across as familiar, friendly, and ready to raise your spirits.
Appearance
Despite the small stature, these buds looked exactly how you’d want. Tight, dense, and hairy, having been manicured extremely well. They broke apart beautifully, leaving behind a healthy amount of powdery crystals on my fingers, indicative of the high-quality indoor weed that Rêveur has become well-known for in California. Almost a glowingly bright green, offset with deep orange patches and blanketed in light-colored trichomes, Triangle Mints was as gorgeous as it was delicious. Even though the packaging comes across as rather understated and simple, it’s clear that the important part here is what’s on the inside.
Flavour
The initial tastes were fairly simple and not overly complex, but deeply satisfying and managed to leave me craving for more after each hit. There’s minty and herbal notes layered over gassy diesel with that slight drip of sweet honey underneath. Very smooth hits with no coughing which illustrates the quality of this flower. It all blended together so well that the individual nuances were difficult to distinguish at times, but as a whole the flavor of this product was definitely the complete kush package.
Experience
My bag was labelled batch #002612 which was packaged on March 18, 2022 and contained an incredible 38% THC content. I found Triangle Mints to be a sativa-heavy blend, and the effects crashed in like a wave that was energizing, euphoric, and quite entertaining. The high was a quick mood lifter with lots of laughter involved, making this a great choice to pass around socially among a group of friends who appreciate a good time. On second thought, you may want to keep this one all to yourself, because when the bag’s gone you’re probably going to wish you had more. If you can find this one then definitely grab it even with its premium price tag.
