The name of this brand and it’s product greatly peaked our interest.
THC Sativa Landrace is a sativa cultivar from the west coast team at THC BioMed. If you’ve never heard this term before, then learn what a landrace strain is here. Although the exact flower is not disclosed, they do describe the buds as being sandy browns and lighter greens with bursts of amber coloured hairs. In terms of aroma, it’s described as being primary floral with grape and melon undertones which is created by a terpene profile that includes terpinolene, caryophyllene and guaiol.
So how does this compare to other landrace strains like Acapulco Gold or Hindu Kush?

Smell
The product arrived in a plastic black pill style container with security lid. Upon opening the cap we were met with a surprisingly strong and consistent smell of sour citrus which was offset by the equally strong herbal floral. There was no humidity shield inside the container but considering this product was only $15.99 the aroma is better then expected.
Appearance
Unfortunately when we dumped out the contents of the container it was obvious the buds were so dry that you could turn them to dust with your fingers. As luck would have it, a single bud survived perfectly intact for us to admire which was a lovely bright green with contrasting bronze hairs. Good trichome coverage too.
Flavour
Whatever strain this THC Sativa Landrace is, it certainly does have a nice taste. The flavour profile reminded us of a yellow citrusy sour key but of moderate strength only. We wonder how lovely this this bud would have tasted freshly cured in it prime before it dried out.
Experience
Listed with 17.8% THC and a price tag of $15.99 for 3.5 grams, THC Sativa Landrace from THC Biomed was better then expected even though the flower was very dry. How long has it been since you had a sativa straight up? Not a sativa leaning hybrid but an actual true sativa. If you are looking for a good mental simulator that gets your mind wired with very little body buzz then this one is worth checking out – especially given the price.
