Northern Lights is a world traveller and legendary friend to all smokers.
Northern Lights from Top Leaf is an indica dominate strain – proud and powerful, sturdy and strong. So we were thrilled to learn that Top Leaf is now producing this classic.

Smell
With our fingers crossed for Top Leaf’s Northern Lights, we opened the container to greet a clearly identifiable smell of fresh pine needles hinting of what’s to come.
Appearance
Taking a look inside, we excitedly studied the bright-green, orange pistil hairs plastered within small to medium-sized spongy buds.
Flavour
The bud when smoked is thoroughly enjoyed due to its smooth pine and lemon citrus combo which balances well.
Experience
Things just keep getting better with Top Leaf’s strain of Northern Lights. The high is very strong and heavy making one sluggish physically while the mind is kept clear.
The Emerald Wizard
I agree with Dave because you just can’t go wrong with Top Leaf and I mean com’on it’s Northern Lights. I’ve always enjoyed this strain as one of those few true Indica’s in a sea of hybrids. It’s also a very resilient strain for first time growers and provides a pretty ample THC potency and that oh so sweet piney-earthy taste, oh man I wish I had some right now. You can expect those same qualities to really shine with Top Leaf. I found it to be a tad sharp on the inhale using my vaporizer (190c Solo II w 4″ glass bubbler). With that being sad the only real negative is the price. While I think its safe to price Top Leaf strains as if they were Top Shelf/5A product, I also think that no weed is worth spending more that $15/g.
