Blue Dream is a descendent of Blueberry and Super Silver Haze and described by Aurora as being a high-THC sativa strain with light green buds and a piney, peppery, and citrus aroma due to the terpenes pinene, limonene, and myrcene.
Aurora explains on their website how this strain was grown in their state-of-the-art facility which was built to deliver a consistent, superior quality product. But how does this compare to competitors like Spinach’s Blue Dream?

The product arrived in an industry standard black plastic container. Removing the lid released a mild aroma of sweet herbs and pine needles. We did not detect any citrus or lemon aroma but the smell was not pungent or strong and we needed to inhale deeply to get a good feel for what we were smelling.
Aside from the overall dryness and decent trim job, the buds were all a good size. They are lush green in colour and were covered in shiny bronze hairs. There is also the frosty trichome appeal – yum!
As we found out, the smell was more appealing than the flavour. The flavour of Blue Dream is a sweet herbal woodiness punctuated at the end by a hint of pine. The herbal flavour overpowers everything but a tiny undertone of pine.
Blue Dream from Aurora Cannabis is not bad if you are looking for a relaxing, mentally uplifting buzz. This strain delivers a mild to strong experience while providing a noticeable body buzz that makes your eyes and face tingle.
