MTL Cannabis Sage N Sour Review

MTL Cannabis Sage N Sour is a sativa that was created by mixing S.A.G.E. with Sour Diesel to produce flower with distinct herbally citrus aroma.

MTL Cannabis describes this strain as containing over 1% CBG with the dominant terpene being Terpinolene – which is commonly found in true sativa strains in addition to lilacs, nutmeg and cumin. So how does this version compare aginst competitors like Citizen Stash’s Sage N Sour?

Smell

This was our first experience with MTL Cannabis so we were a bit excited to see what type of quality they brought to the table. Upon opening the container we were met with an immediate aroma of pine followed by citrus is detected. Overall there is definitely an earthy/citrus aroma which is a good match to the name.

Appearance

This batch of Sage N’ Sour was quite visually appealing. A very nice frosty trichomes coating that highlights the amazingly bright orange pistils and green buds clustered together.

Flavour

The earthy aroma also made itself present in the flavour. From smoking this bud, its evident the name comes from the sweet combination it’s earthy citrus profile gives off. Soothing smoke but a bit harsh on the throat.

Experience

Listed as having 25.61% THC content, we found this was a great bud if you want something strong during the day that won’t distract you from any tasks you have. Overall a strong clear minded buzz that could be used during the day (depending on your tolerance level).
