Back Forty’s Fruity Pebbles OG is a hybrid strain that was created when Green Ribbon was crossed with Tahoe Alien.
This strain is known to produce high levels of THC and an aroma many users compare to sweet fruit. Plus, the buds are dense, medium-sized, vibrant in colour and covered in a thick layer of fuzzy trichomes. Interestingly, Back Forty says they use a special foil pouch to keep their buds as fresh as possible. But does this work better then a humidity shield? We’ll find out.

The product arrived in same type of silver foil bag as previous Back Forty products. We tore into the package and were greeted with a fairly strong aroma that was similar to a sweet musk. There certainly was a sweet berry element to the smell but not a sugary sweet like Black Cherry Punch but something that was closer to a duller berry musk.
In terms of appearance, Back Forty has done a really nice job with their Fruity Pebbles OG strain. All the buds were small to medium (pebble size), dense, nicely trimmed with purple specks and a thick layer of trichome crystals. The buds were a bit dry but overall not too bad considering there was no humidity shield. The name fruity pebbles is definitely as fitting when you see how this strain looks.
The flavour profile of Fruity Pebbles OG definitely follows a similar path as it’s smell. We noted that pretty much right from the first inhale until the last this product had an earthy berry taste with musky undertones.
Listed with 20.1% THC content and a price of $22.95 for 3.5 grams, we found Back Forty’s Fruity Pebbles OG delivered a moderately strong mental high combined with a mild body buzz. This one won’t knock you out, but still leaves you feeling happy and relaxed. Fruity Pebbles OG smells good, tastes good and looks excellent. It’s definitely on par with Citizen Stash’s FPOG strain and when you factor in the reasonable price, you have a lot of good reasons to try this product at least once.
