BC God Bud by Verse Originals is an indica-dominant strain that was hard to find details about except for Purple Kush being part of it’s lineage.
The flavour profile is often compared to tropical fruit with hints of lavender, pine and berries which is created from a terpene combination that includes trans-caryophyllene, alpha-bisabolol, alpha-humulene, linalool and limonene. BC God Bud is a popular cultivar because of it’s potent levels of THC, dense spongy buds, orange hairs and layer of fuzzy trichomes.

The product arrived from Verse Originals in an industry standard black bag with resealable zipper opening. We tore open the package and detected a moderately strong aroma of fruit with hints of earthy musk… definitely not as strong as we expected. The fruit smell was present but there was an equally strong aroma of something that reminded us of bland grains of herbal wheat.
Verse Originals included a humidity shield inside the bag which was good to see considering this was a low cost product. We dumped out the contents and found the buds were a big shaggy and leafy but also quite dense and spongy. In addition, they had a heavy trichome layer that was yellowish in colour, significant amount of red orange hairs and buds that were small to medium in size.
We found the flavour profile had about the same strength as the aroma. From the first time we inhaled, this product leaned heavily towards a dank herbal taste with hints of wheat, musk and subtle fruit notes. The flavour was not overpowering and certainly made more enjoyable by the smooth smoke.
Listed with 18.4% THC content and a price of $99.95 for 28 grams, we found Verse Originals BC God Bud delivered a moderately strong high that included a cloudy mind state combined with a strong yet relaxing body tingling sensation which is similar to having goosebumps. Given the reasonable cost, fresh state of the product and above average high, this indica strain is worth checking out.
