Black Cherry Punch is one of our favourite strains so we were thrilled to grab some from Big Bag O’ Buds.
This indica-dominant flower is the result of crossing Purple Punch with Black Cherry Pie and is popular because of it’s juicy cherry flavour profile with hints of sweet floral dankness. The buds are described as being lighter green with purple highlights and covered in a heavy layer of frosty trichome crystals.

Smell
This was our first encounter with the “Big Bag O Buds” brand and the product arrived in a medium sized silver foil bag with resealable zipper opening. We opened the package to discover not only that there’s a humidity shield but that the aroma is amazing! The smell definitely was stronger then Redecan’s version and BCP by Elios.
Appearance
As mentioned above it was nice to see a large humidity shield included in the bag. The contents were made up primarily of small buds with the odd medium sized nug. However what they lacked in size they made up for with their bright beautiful green leaves and orange hairs that popped against the sparkling trichome coverage.
Flavour
Although it definitely had the expected sweet cherry flavour, we felt the taste was not on the same level as the aroma. However with that being said, it was still very good and the smoke experience was pretty smooth given the fresh state of the flower.
Experience
Listed with 18.6% THC content and a price tag of $146.95 for 28 grams, we found Black Cherry Punch from Big Bag O Buds delivered a comparatively strong effect given the rated potency. After smoking it, there was a relaxing mild mental cloud combined with a strong body tingling working in tandem. Given the excellent price of this product we think if you’re already a fan of the Black Cherry Punch strain (like us) then it’s definitely worth checking out.
