LBS Sunset contains a very interesting terpene profile including linalool (lavender, mint and cinnamon), beta-caryophyllene (black pepper and cloves) and humulene (hops and coriander). LBS states that this strain combines these 3 dominant terpenes to produce a spicy pepper and clove aroma.
So how does this flower compare against other peppery strains like Back Forty’s Wedding Pie.
Smell
Sunset from LBS arrived in a square metal container. After struggling to get the lid off, we noticed only a faint smell of citrus. Likely the buds had lost moisture and aroma due to no moisture pack.
Appearance
Sunset unquestionably boasts a visually stunning presentation. The medium to large buds, exceptionally solid and adorned with vibrant red hairs, create a striking contrast against the light green leafy backdrop.
Flavour
The distinctiveness of flavors never ceases to surprise, and Sunset is no exception. Undoubtedly, this bud produces a sour lemon taste, offering a truly unique and enjoyable flavor profile.
Experience
Sunset means exactly that, lights out! With heavy resin production, this high leaves one noticeably glassy-eyed, sleepy, amidst a thick mental fog. Heavy enough to put one to sleep so don’t use it during the day unless you’re going to take a nap.

2 bad rear end collisions has ruined my neck and life. I have relied on Sunset for years to escape the pain and agony by going to sleep, hopefully waking up feeling better. Sunset even allowed me to stop taking sleeping pills!! No matter the pain level this always works. Be warned, it leaves you with a nasty hangover but a little bit of sativa and a hot shower cures that.

Hi Bill, I’m wondering if you found a replacement for Sunset (LBS)? Or do you have another strain that works just as well? I’ve tried the strongest Indica strains and they don’t work the same way for me.
Meanwhile there are very few stores carrying Sunset from LBS.
