Pure Hemp Unbleached Regular Size Rolling Papers Review

Pure Hemp Unbleached Regular Size Rolling Papers are made from 13 GSM ultra-thin hemp paper without any whitening process.

Today we’re checking out another rolling paper option from the Pure Hemp team.

Pure Hemp Unbleached Regular Size Rolling Papers are suppose to be thinner than previous products and of course have not been bleached. Since the paper did not have any whitening treatment it ends up changing to a golden brown colour which is stark contrast to their standard white hemp rolling papers.

We already reviewed Pure Hemp’s King Size Unbleached and their Classic Regular Papers so it will be interesting to see how these compare.

QUALITY OF CONSTRUCTION

Most companies who create rolling papers tend to use traditional wood pulp – the common base ingredient for rice papers. However Pure Hemp uses ultra-thin 13 GSM paper made from hemp in Spain by Miquel y Costas.

In addition to the hemp, they use an all‐natural Arabica gum instead of artificial glue. This gets harvested from the African Acacia tree with no additives or colouring.

We do find that Pure Hemp’s rolling papers have a sturdy feel like they won’t easily rip.

EASE OF USE

Just like previous rolling papers these won’t make it any easier or harder to roll joints.

However since Pure Hemp uses a thicker hemp paper we think some users might find them a bit easier when compared to something like Smoking’s Thinnest Papers which can tear very easily. But if you already are comfortable rolling then you’ll have no issues with these.

OVERALL VALUE

Pure Hemp sells their Unbleached Regular Size rolling papers directly from their website for $39 (USD). That price includes a box of 50 booklets with 50 leaves inside each booklet.

In terms of overall value, that’s really subjective and comes down to your personal preference. If you prefer a slightly thicker paper or one that is unbleached and made from hemp then you’ll find this brand offers great value.

But if you’re style is very thin rolling paper then you’ll probably find these are thick.

Since high school my friends and I have been recreational cannabis users so we decided to start Merry Jade after legalization in 2019. We review and photograph the different products then share them on this website. The rating system we use is called “SAFE” which stands for Smell, Appearance, Flavour and Experience. Each category gets a score out of 10.
