The White Rhino strain was originally cultivated in the Gulf Islands before becoming popular across the rest of Canada.
Made when White Widow was crossbred with a North American Indica, it’s known for producing fruity aromas (thanks to a combination of terpenes) that include blueberries and mangos (myrcene), green grapes (alpha-pinene), and Thai basil (caryophyllene).
Pure Sunfarms describes their White Rhino strain as being carefully trimmed, hand-groomed, dried and cured to precise standards. The bud is suppose to be covered in a snowy layer of trichomes, with the leaves showcasing a variety of colours, ranging from sea green to lime peel, with splashes of purple.
How does this strain compare to their other products like Pure Sunfarms Jet Fuel Gelato?

Smell
The product arrived in an industry standard medium size green bag with zipper seal. Opening the bag released a moderately strong aroma of sweet pine. But we really had to shove our heads in the bag and inhale deeply to get a full sense of the smell. The smell was pleasant just not what we were expecting based off White Rhino’s description.
Appearance
Visually this bud looks great and this may be the products greatest benefit. Well groomed with a few dry flakes. White Rhino from Pure Sunfarms has a truly impressive appearance with its dark purple specks and bright green leaves. The crackling orange hairs and frosty trichome coverage leave us wanting to admire these buds longer. Visually this product looks great even though it’s a bit dry.
Flavour
As quickly as the White Rhino arrived, it also left. That’s what can be said for the aroma and flavour. While it does have a pleasing sweet piney flavour, that seems to disappear very quickly when smoking and is easily forgotten. There is nothing memorable about the flavour.
Experience
This ride from Pure Sunfarms courtesy of the White Rhino strain was a bit of disappointment. At best this product delivers a really weak mental high with mild body tingles. Despite the numbers printed on the outside package, the experience was kind of forgettable… much like the smell and flavour. We liked it more then their Pink Kush but not as much as their delicious Blueberry Kush strain.
