Blue Iguana from Weed Me is a hybrid strain that was created when Double Dutch was crossed with Old Time Moonshine.
Most users describe the aroma as a skunky earth smell with a flavour profile similar to dried spiced fruit and deep musk with the potential for THC levels in excess of 30%. In terms of appearance, growers say the buds resemble large, well-fed iguanas which is where the name originates.
It will be interesting to see how this compares to Weed Me’s Wedding Cake or even their Mandarin Cookies strain.

Weed Me’s Blue Iguana has a very sweet citrusy, super earthy smell with slight hints of wood and gas. The smell reminded us of freshly planted lavender with a slight oak tree scent. However we were expecting the aroma to be stronger given the premium nature of this product.
The flower was packaged in a white reusable glass jar with a boost pack. On the outside label you can find the THC and terpene percentage, dominant terpenes, lineage flavours/aromas profile. Weed Me went a little bit above and beyond by adding the flavours along with smell profiles and we thought it was a perfect touch. Blue Iguana had beautiful light green buds with dark green spots, covered in light orange hairs complimented with shiny trichomes and because of the perfect trim you can really see the crystals shining through.
Given the high THC percentage we were excited to roll this one up. While inhaling we noted a sweet floral that reminded us of lavender with an undertone of woody diesel. Very good tasting strain!
Listed with 31.3% THC content and price tag of $39.95 for 3.5 grams, we found Weed Me’s Blue Iguana can produce a high that really depends on your type of vibe. You can smoke this during the day if you can handle high numbers of THC but it’s also perfect for winding down, switching off the mind and allowing you to enter full relaxation mode. Blue Iguana is a banger and although more potent then Weed Me’s Do-Si-Dos we feel it offers similar value. This strain can have you vibing at any social gathering or couch-locked and barely moving like our pet bearded dragon Simba!
