Secret Formula is a relatively new indica-dominant strain that is the result of crossing the classic Do-Si-Dos strain with White Fire #43.
Wink reports this cultivar produces a delicious sour citrus aroma with notable diesel undertones. Not surprising when you consider it’s dominant terpenes include limonene, myrcene, and caryophyllene. Wink’s Secret Formula was cultivated in a way to combine the Kush characteristics of White Fire #43 with the earthy sweet flavours of Do-Si-Do. The end result is a gorgeously dense, sticky and trichome-laden bud. Let’s see how this compares to Weed Me’s Do-Si-Dos.

Smell
The product arrived in an industry standard mid-size black bag with resealable top. What does Wink’s Secret Formula smell like? Well, brace yourself for one the mostly earthy aromas you’ll encounter with a tiny hint of herbal tea and diesel. However the fresh earthy smell was so strong it pretty much eliminated any secondary scents.
Appearance
Secret Formula looks great. Well grow, well trimmed and very little shake in the bag. The buds at first glance look fluffy and almost spongy but in reality they are quite solid and dense. Plus the lovely pattern of green tones mixed with bright hairs and a trichome glaze makes it hard to think about anything but another session.
Flavour
Wink’s Secret Formula is fairly consistent when comparing smell to taste. The flavour profile is overwhelmingly earthy with herbal undertones and what seemed to be hints of pine at the end. Not the most delicious flavour we’ve encountered but not the worst, somewhere in the middle.
Experience
Up to this point we thought Wink’s Secret Formula was quite good and given the high percentage of THC listed on the packaged we were expecting a very strong buzz. However given the higher price and the product being labelled as high THC we were expecting a very strong buzz. Unfortunately we found the high was slightly above average, there was strong and equal between mental and physical, but it wore off quite quickly. Overall we expected something with more kick.
