Being a 100% organic grower in Pemberton, British Columbia, they use organic living soil then go the extra mile to use glacial water and microbial teas for their crops. Users say this strain has a sweet taste and aromas of vanilla, earth and pine.
Almost immediately I was struck by a very dank but solid earthy spice aroma when I first popped open the jar. There was also a slight vanilla lime undertone that could be more pronounced but overall the combination was a delightful smell.
The 3.5 grams arrived in a glass jar with the strain name and THC contents printed on the front label and the dominant terpene percentages printed on the back. The buds were dark green with lots of light orange hairs spread throughout each flower. They were the standard size you’d expect to find in an eighth, one big bud and a couple of smaller ones. The trichomes themselves were highly visible and had a few robustly developed heads and a milky white colouring.
To smoke this flower I used my Arizer volcano vaporizer. I found it had a gassy earth taste with the vanilla portion being non-existent in the flavour profile but the lime citrus made a more substantial appearance than it did in the smell department.
My container was part of lot 43IHFZFIQT with a package date of January 26, 2022. It was listed with 24.1% THC content and cost $45.99 for 3.5 grams. The high delivered from this Pemberton Pink included a very nice relaxing body effect. It would be more suited for a staying-in kind of night where you plan to watch movies or just chill with friend. Since it’s grown over in Pemberton, the buds were fresh and overall a pretty good first experience with the Coast Mountain Cannabis brand.
