The buds are known to be dense, frosty and have a notable lemony citrus aroma with mild diesel undertones. Headband is known for a really smooth and creamy smoke that has a slow onset but eventually produces a balanced high focused around the upper body. Grown in Alberta, the team at Palmetto cultivates their Headband strain under ideal conditions.
But how does it smoke?

This is our first encounter with a Palmetto product so we had no idea what to expect. The product arrived in a industry standard small plastic container with security lid. Opening the container was pleasant as we were immediately struck by a spritz of fresh lemon followed by a soft herbal note. When we peeled open a bud the aroma became even stronger and a hint sweeter.
Palmetto’s Headband looks great. The buds were are all dense, compact, medium-sized and well trimmed. Plus, they had a consist variety of green tones like a canvas but also peppered with rich brown hairs. To top everything off, the buds were covered in a a lovely layer of trichome glaze that added a nice sparkle. Palmetto included a moisture pack in the container so the product arrived in great shape – not dry or flaky.
We reviewed another Headband product in the past, but it wasn’t the same quality as Palmetto’s version. This product offers a much more pleasant and dominant lemony herbal flavour with a tiny hint of black pepper towards the end. However overall this product had a smooth flavour making it quite enjoyable and easy to smoke.
We enjoyed Headband from Palmetto. This product delivers a balanced experience that includes a relaxing moderate mental high while simultaneously generating a strong body buzz centred on the face. The sensation is reminiscent of removing a wet washcloth from your face and feeling your skin tingle. Time to sit back and chillax.
