RIFF’s Raider Kush is an indica-dominant strain that was created by crossing several other strains including OG Kush and Kosher Kush.
Users typically compare the aroma to a spicy wood smell accented by sharp waves of citrus lemon-lime. This unique mix of smells is produced by its main terpenes which consist of limonene (lemon, lime), beta-caryophyllene (pepper, spice, wood) and myrcene (musky, earthy). Visually Raider Kush is quite impressive. Known for it’s dense, grape-shaped buds with golden amber undertones, bright orange hairs and a heavy layer of sparkling trichomes. This strain is potent and not recommended for users with low THC tolerance.
RIFF’s other products like Hell Cat 33, Subway Scientist and DT81 we review already and for the most part thought were nice strains. But how does Raider Kush compare?

Smell
The product arrived in a small black plastic container with security lid. I always struggle opening these. Once the lid finally came off our first impression was a note of soft herbal with an earthy undertone began to appear but also quickly faded. The smell was nice, but it was not strong at all and within a few minutes it was hard to smell anything unless you put the bud right up to your nose.
Appearance
Our eyes were jumping all over the place while we tried to take in all the features of the tiny popcorn buds. Bright and two-toned, the greens are accompanied by orangey brass hairs that are well spaced out. The sugar coating of the trichomes also seems to effortlessly hang off the every inch top to bottom.
Flavour
The flavour was more mild and generic than expected. Inhaling we tasted a balanced herbal and earthy combo that is so smooth if you blink its gone. Some smokers will like this and some will not, it’s a matter of preference. However much like the smell… the flavour is here one second and gone the next.
Experience
Listed as having 20.7% THC content, we found RIFF’s Raider Kush to a be a good overall indica. It delivered a strong body buzz focused around the eyes like you’ve just removed your swimming goggles. Combine that with a mental high which is so calm and peaceful that you’re able to still focus enough to enjoy the experience.
