Yesterday we shared our Simple Stash Sativa review and overall thought it was a decent product if you’re on a tight budget.
Today we’re reviewing at Simple Stash’s Indica flower which like their sativa is sold at a bargain price. Obviously buying a low cost product that includes 5 grams instead of the traditional 3.5 should create measured expectations, but we’re optimistic given the decent quality of their sativa. Much like their sativa product there is very little information about the actual strain name or combination of terpenes so it’s a bit of blind test.

Smell
Simple Stash’s Indica arrived in a medium sized metal tin with easy to open lid. We were not expecting an overwhelming powerful aroma given the low price point and we were fairly correct. Popping open the lid released a subtle but noticeable herbal pine with earthy undertones. The smell is decent but not great.
Appearance
Upon pouring out the contents we noticed the buds were quite spongy but also dense. There was plenty of dark green leaves with fiery red hairs clinging to each leaf. However there seemed to be one noticeable thing missing… the trichomes. We can see a light trichome dusting in the photos but when we inspected with the naked eye they were pretty much nonexistent.
Flavour
We were still holding out hope that the flavour profile of this product would be tasteful. However the flavour of Simple Stash Indica may be it worst trait. A very brief note of a piney herbalness right before being run over with a flavour similar to dried plants or greens. The dry nature of the bud also made this one a bit tough to smoke. Overall not a good flavour experience.
Experience
To each their own – Simple Stash Indica is cost effective and gets the job done without question! Just don’t hold out for something that smell, tastes or looks good in the process. The high is moderately strong and focuses heavily on the body creating a sleepy and slow feeling however the mental impact was quite mellow and easy to work with. Much like their Sativa product this one would be good for those on a tight budget. But if finances are not a concern you’ll probably want to avoid this product.
