Wedding Mint is an indica-dominant strain that was created by crossing Wedding Cake with Kush Mints.
It’s described as having an earthy, sweet, and citrus aroma with heavily frosty purple and green buds. We were pretty excited to try it since giving Truro’s True OG strain a pretty solid rating a few months ago. Truro is an intriguing company to watch because of their state-of-the-art production facility. They have a pretty awesome infrastructure to carefully dry, cure, trim and and package according to their high-quality guidelines.
But how does their Wedding Mint strain actually smoke?
Check out the review, rating and photos below.
Smell
Any guesses on what Truro has up their sleeve with Wedding Mint? After removing the lid we get a very very faint earthy smell with a touch of lemon. A bit surprising given it’s terpene profile. However this could also be from the packaging not including a moisture pack the bud had dried out losing some of its aroma potency.
Appearance
Dark-leaved, frosted and sparkling trichomes with bright red-haired pistils. These little boulder buds look very nice indeed. Visually this product is pleasant looking and leaves you feeling excited to smoke. Keep reading to find out what this bud tastes like.
Flavour
This is awkward. While hoping to get more of the smell in the flavor, this wish was granted, with a kick. This bud produces a noticeable harsh black pepper note finishing in a touch of citrus and pine. For some reason we were expecting a different flavour profile with this one.
Experience
As enticing as the appearance is, the effect is almost on par, bringing a strong and relaxing high pretty quickly after smoking. Listed as having 25.6% THC content, we think this is another good entry from the team at Truro and worth trying.
