Recently we reviewed Twd’s Himalayan Kush which peaked our interest about their other products.
Garlic Jelly is an indica-dominant strain that was created by crossing Jilly Bean with GMO. Users compare the aroma and flavour to a strong pungent mix of musk and spices. Growers describe the buds as being very dense, dark and covered in a thick trichome layer.
Although we were not able to find much information on this cultivar we’re curious how it compares to Garlic Z or the strong GMO Cookies.

Smell
The product arrived from Twd in an industry standard white plastic container with security lid. Opening the lid released a decently strong cannabis aroma that reminded us of a sweet creamy garlic dip. The GMO part of its genetics really come through.
Appearance
The buds for the most part were small to medium in size and extremely dense. However there was no humidity shield included so the nugs were extremely dry and produced lots of shake. Fortunately the cornucopia of colour and the fuzzy trichome layer made up some of those lost points.
Flavour
It was nice to see the great smell was mirrored in the flavour profile. We rolled a nice size joint and found that when we inhaled slowly there was a distinct sweet creaminess to the smoke which had a definite garlic undertone on exhale. As mentioned the bud was pretty dry so the smoke ended up being harsher then we’d like.
Experience
Listed with 23.1% THC content a price tag of $21.50 for 3.5 grams, we found Garlic Jelly from Twd lived up to the name. While the aroma and flavour delivered a smooth garlic profile, the high itself was very strong. Similar quality to Twd’s Indica strain and produced a mild to moderate body buzz that washed over again and again combined with scattered mental focus making it hard to concentrate. Overall we liked Original Stash’s Garlic Jelly just a tick more, but if you’re looking for a reasonably priced indica that delivers a strong sedating high then you might want to try this one.
Ri
Very small nugs, packaging says 3.5 looks nothing like it.
Checked it with my scaler there’s 3.3 in there My question is why are the buds so little

Were your buds crispy and dry too?
