Papaya is an indica-dominant strain that was creating by crossing Citral #13 and Ice #2.
The end result was a flower with dense light green buds covered in a layer of milky white trichomes. Users typically report that Papaya has a complex aromatic profile which includes hints of fresh papaya, mango, guava and citrus combined with hints of earthy spice. This strain is known to deliver a mental calmness, though many consumers find this strain also makes them energetic and productive.
We reviewed 7Acres Sensi Star recently and thought is was pretty good. So how does their Papaya strain compare to other fruity cultivars like San Rafael’s Stonefruit Sunset?

Smell
The product arrived in an industry standard black plastic container with resealable lid. Opening the top released a sweet but tarty aroma of fresh citrus juice. It was hard to identify but it reminded us of mangoes, juicy nectarines and even small hints of cherry.
Appearance
These buds are decent in size and are very compact. However no moisture package was include so unfortunately the buds dried out and were quite flaky. The greens are a uniform shade while there is only a little contrast between the brightness of the green leaves and the brightness of the orange hairs. However as 7Acres has described, there is certainly a dense layer of trichomes filling in all the crevices even if they aren’t easily visible to the naked eye.
Flavour
The taste was probably the high point of this product. The flavour definitely matches its aroma, however we noticed this delicious sweet fruit flavour faded quicker than desired. If the flavour had been a few notches stronger this would have been one of the more delicious products we’d smoke in a while.
Experience
Keeping with the fresh and flowing vibe is a slightly above average high intensity. The moderate mental high produced a slowed down response to surrounding stimulation while still feeling a sense of relaxation and euphoria. The physical component was strong creating an overall full body vibration sensation. Overall 7Acres’ Papaya is a decent product but a bit expensive given the overall experience it provides.
