Sage and Sour is described as having a sweet herbal flavour with a hint of sour citrus. The buds have dense fluffy dark olive green nugs with rich coloured leaves and thin twisty amber hairs. These buds are dusted with a fine layer of almost translucent trichomes and sweet sticky resin.
We’ve been really impressed with Citizen Stash in the past so we couldn’t wait to review their take on Sage N Sour and we’re curious to see how it compares against the version from MTL Cannabis.

Smell
Opening the container released a earthy herbal smell with hints of citrus. Although the aroma was not overpowering it definitely smelled exactly like what you’d expect from the Sage N Sour strain.
Appearance
Citizen Stash is pretty consistent about delivering on appearance. Their plants are clearly well handled. This package contained very lovely solid buds equally divided between lush greens and brownish-red hairs that pop. Plus a fuzzy coating of trichomes that covered the buds from end to end. Definitely likes posing for the camera!
Flavour
Based off the smell we were expecting a pretty flavourful smoke, however that really was not the case. A clear taste of refreshing lemon with earthy notes were detected but not overpowering.
Experience
Citizen Stash has another knockout here. For those with above average THC tolerance, this bud produces a very strong and groggy buzz. No alert or intense focus activities when enjoying this one. This Sage N Sour can put you down so be careful.

I purchased some of this sitting at 26.8% and let me tell you the smell coming off of it is very strong and at that % don’t let the name Sativa fool you, the buds were beautiful and tightly packed but not small!
