Daily Special’s Gasberry Pie is an indica-dominant strain that was created by crossing Wedding Cake with Jet Fuel.
Finding strain information was difficult but most users were reporting a smell that combined distinct notes that included berries, gasoline, and wood. Daily Special says the buds produced are mostly medium-sized, lime-green and have a very dense trichome layer. It will be interesting to see how this compares to Daily Special’s MK Ultra (their other indica).

Smell
The product arrived from Daily Special in a medium sized yellow bag with resealable zipper opening. We opened the package and detected a moderately strong aroma that reminded us of lemon pie crust. Not overpowering but certainly noticeable and likely would be stronger if the flower was not so dry.
Appearance
We dumped out the contents and were not surprised that Daily Special did not included a humidity shield. This appears to be their process which is unfortunate because the buds arrives in an extremely dry state. In terms of appearance, the nugs were bright lime green, small but dense however very dry. They had a pretty thick trichome layer but at the same time were a little leafy.
Flavour
The citrusy aspect of the aroma is definitely present in the flavour profile. Similar to a bitter or zesty citrus on inhale which morphs into a bitter herbal on exhale. It tastes about as good as it sounds so fortunately the flavour was pretty moderate in strength just like the smell.
Experience
Listed with 29.3% THC content and a price tag of $21.95 for 3.5 grams ($72.95 for 14 grams), we found Daily Special’s Gasberry Pie didn’t kick like you’d expect for nearly 30% THC. There was a strong cerebral alertness or perkiness effect while also producing a mild to moderate face tingle like you’re wearing a headband. Users with higher tolerance won’t get knocked out but compared to Daily Special’s Lemon Haze, this strain is step up and could be the best flower they’ve produced to date.
