Banana Kush is a hybrid that was created by crossing Ghost OG with Skunk Haze.
Infused pre-rolls seem to be the new item sweeping the market this summer and General Admission brings out the Banana Kush in their new distillate pre-roll line-up. This 1 gram pre-roll has its signature distillate, is dusted in premium kief and described as a tropical limbo with a sweet dank aroma of overly ripe bananas. Curious if this pre-roll put us in the summer mindset and how it compares to strains like Qwest’s Banana OG or Cookies Apples & Bananas.

Smell
General Admission’s infused pre-roll arrived in a white tube with a resealable plastic lid. Cracking it open we were disappointed that there really wasn’t much smell or anything at all when you first take a sniff. However eventually we did begin to smell a mild note of cinnamon.
Appearance
The pre-roll was very nicely rolled and definitely looked like a full-gram. It had a twisted tip to ensure cannabis stays inside and was coated in a layer of kief. One thing to note, there was a sizable chunk of kief missing near the filter but that’s probably due to shipping more than anything else.
Flavour
We were hoping that even though the smell wasn’t there the taste would be. Did a dry pull first and it had a slightly earthy taste. Upon lighting we noticed that turned more to a piney earthy flavour. Some pulls got hits of something akin to banana here and there but it wasn’t consistent. It should also be noted that this pre-roll should be “sipped” rather than just plain smoking it.
Experience
This Banana Kush from General Admission is their first attempt at infused pre-rolls and it certainly did provide an excellent high with a slight body tingle. Currently listed at $15.99 for a 1 gram pre-rolled joint (PRJ) with THC content of 36.90% makes it worth trying out at least once. That being said the aroma and flavour profile could be much stronger than currently so we’d put these just under Redecan Redees+ Cold Creek Kush which was another infused pre-roll.
