Legend Cannabis (not to be confused with this other Legend brand) is a subsidiary of Indiva that strives to grow hydroponic cannabis to produce rich dried flower, chocolates, handcrafted pre-rolls and other products. Their Strawberry Layered Cake Milk Chocolate promises to combine their rich fair trade chocolate with freeze-dried strawberries to create a strawberry cake taste.

Smell
I wasn’t expecting the smell to be much different than a traditional chocolate bar. The aroma was definitely sweet and chocolatey but also had a secondary scent of strawberries.
Appearance
The chocolate came in a small pale pink Mylar bag with the Legend logo and the THC/CBD contents printed on the front. The back label contained details about the ingredients and nutrition values. In terms of the actual chocolate, it was a medium square divided into four different sections with the brand logo stamped on each. Large freeze-dried strawberry chunks were stuck to the back of the chocolate, making it look slightly thrown together.
Flavour
The chocolate had a rich milk chocolate flavour that was very tasty with the large chunks of strawberries adding a tart, slightly bitter taste. The two mixed very well together however it would be nice if the strawberries had a stronger, more prominent taste.
Experience
This Strawberry Layered Cake Milk Chocolate was part of lot number D1380405 with a package date of May 20, 2022. Like most edibles on the Canadian market it only contained 10 mg of THC which is the current legal limit, as a result I only felt a mild body high after consuming. That being said, I would buy this product again due to the low price point of $3.98. But I want some of the strawberries to be better mixed in so the chocolate has a more put-together look and to add to the overall flavour profile.
