Citrique from LowBanks Grow is a hybrid strain that was created by crossing Lime Skunk with Orange Valley OG.
Known for it’s citrus-like aroma (hence the name), purple highlights on the leaves and a moderate layer of trichome crystals. We’re not familiar with Citrique or the Lowbanks Grow brand so it will be interesting to see the quality of the product.

The product arrived from Lowbanks Grow in tall black plastic bag with resealable zipper opening. We tore open the package expecting a citrus aroma but actually smelled very little. Possibly a very very weak citrus scent but it was barely detectable. The label states it was packaged on October 12, 2021 so it’s nearly 5 months old.
We dumped out the contents and noticed there was no humidity shield which was not surprising, however the level of dryness was a bit shocking. This flower is one of the driest flowers we’ve seen so far and simply touching it caused flakes to turn into powder. On a positive note, the buds were quite large which was nice but it’s really hard to overlook the dry state of the product.
The citrus flavour here is far more pronounced than the aroma. The citrusy taste is noticeable in a brief burst when you inhale but it fades rather quickly. Also be prepared for a harsh smoking experience but you might have figured that already due to the dryness.
Listed with 20.1% THC content and a price tag of $19.95 for 3.5 grams, we found this product offers some value but certainly has negative aspects. Citrique from Lowbanks Grow delivered a moderate mental buzz combined with a mellow body vibe which added to the sense of serenity. However you better be prepared for an extremely dry flower even if it comes at a reasonable cost.
