Mood Ring Craft Golden Berry is an indica-dominant hybrid that was created by crossing Kushberry, Afghani and Cherry Pie.
Users report the flavour profile as being a combination of sweet berries, light skunk and a subtle piney undertone. The dominant terpenes include caryophyllene, limonene, farnesene, myrcene, linalool. Smell
The product arrived from Mood Ring in a light violet coloured nitrogen-sealed container. After reviewing hundreds of products with dozens of different containers, we’ve starting to believe the nitrogen sealing method is one of the best ways to preserve freshness, aroma and flavour. Craft Golden Berry is no exception and it had a strong smell that was amazingly sweet and reminded us of concentrated berry jam.
Appearance
Given the nitrogen we were not expecting a humidity shield as it really was not needed anyway. We dumped out the bud and our eyes happily began dancing all over place. The buds were small yet very spongy and dense with different shades of greens and purple before moving on to the dark orange hairs. From there it was easy to appreciate the purple leaf veins and thick shimmering layer of crystal trichomes.
Flavour
This Craft Golden Berry is the type of bud that after tasting it, you don’t wanna put it down. Upon inhaling we detected a sweet earthy taste before transforming into a tart raspberry on exhale. This flavour was really outstanding. The smell sets you up and the flavour knocks you down. One thing to note is that without a humidity shield, once the seal was cracked the bud dried out extremely fast and lost most that strong sweet flavour.

Listed with 20.1% THC content and price tag of $32.95 per 3.5 grams, we found Mood Ring’s Craft Golden Berry enjoyable especially if you’re a fan of sweet smelling and tasty bud. Bringing a very strong high split 70/30 between body and mental effects, the high was not overpowering but still bold. The body vibe felt like you’d just completed an upbeat walk whereas the mental effect was similar to a moderate cloud that sometimes made you lose train of thought. Overall we found this product delivered an uplifting and enjoyable high at a reasonable price.
