Original Stash’s Garlic Jelly is an indica-dominant hybrid that was created by crossing Jelly Breath and GMO (which is a GSC child that was crossed with Chemdog).
Users report the end result is a flower with a sweet but sharp spicy aroma. Grower’s indicate the buds are dark, dense and covered in a very heavy layer of frosty trichome crystals. This product’s description sounds like a winner and since other OS.One flowers have been decent we though it was a good time to check this one out.
Let’s see how this one stacks up to competitors like Garlic Jelly from Twd.

Smell
The product arrived in a large black plastic bag with resealable zipper opening. We tore open the package and instantly released a moderately strong gassy spice aroma with a secondary hint of earthy musk. The smell was by no means overpowering and seemed dry even without seeing any of the buds. Pleasant even though we wanted it have a little more kick.
Appearance
We dumped out the contents and had a mixed reaction. On the negative side Original Stash did not include a terpene shield so the buds ended up being very dry and rock hard. Plus a couple of the larger nugs had pretty thick stems that could have been clipped closer. However on the positive side the buds looked really nice, felt dense, were decent in size, covered in purple and dark green leaves with a very thick trichome layer that looked to be a off-white or pale amber.
Flavour
The flavour profile of this Garlic Jelly very much followed the smell and delivered a moderately strong spicy gas taste with a musky herbal undertone and was noticeable but not quite as strong as the spice. However since the buds were so dry the smoke itself was harsh and we kept thinking this would be a more enjoyable smoke if the flower was in a fresher state.
Experience
Our bag was labelled lot number (L) AAA-113925-B with a package date of May 9, 2022. Listed with 19.4% THC content and a price tag of $124.95 for 28 grams, we found Original Stash’s OS.ONE Garlic Jelly delivered a surprisingly strong high for a flower listed with less then 20% THC. After smoking we felt a strong mental calm with only a moderate body effect that started with waves of goosebumps before ending with a sleepy eye feeling. But it was also very dry which made the smoke harsh, less enjoyable and likely dampened the aroma and flavour as well. But this one is still worth checking out especially if you’re a fan of the Garlic Jelly strain.
