Pistol and Paris is a legacy legal producer near the Fraser Valley, BC. Orange Tingz is a hybrid strain that was created by crossing Slurricane with a TMAC and was bred by Scared Cut Genetics before being cultivated by JBuds.
With a dedication to bringing consumers the same quality flower from legacy days with all the added safety and cleaner cannabis options that the legal cannabis market brings, they promise the buds to be heavily frosted with trichomes and have an aroma of a sweet grape with berry undertones.
Let’s see how this compares to Snackbar’s Macslurry or Slurri Crasher from Tantalus.

Smell
The aroma of this cannabis had a very intense orange citrus scent with zesty secondary hints of other citrus fruits in the undertone. I found the Orange Tingz vapour and smoke had a similar smell as the buds but not quite as potent.
Appearance
Orange Tingz arrived in a black glass jar with it’s name and logo printed on the front. The back label had THC, CBD and terpene percentages but unfortunately no indication of the dominant terpenes present. We did some research and learned it was Limonene, Ocimene and Trans-Caryophyllene. When I opened the jar I was happy to see a terpene shield and humidity pack which made me think the flower would be fresh. The buds had a beautiful dark green colouring with burnt orange hairs. I put a couple of the buds underneath a microscope and saw highly visible robust trichome crystals that had an cloudy to milky amber colour on the outside and mature milky amber-colour trichomes once I cracked the bud open.
Flavour
The flavour profile of the Orange Tingz included that same orange zesty citrus that I noted in the aroma of the buds. However I did feel this orange flavour becomes more prominent through a vaporizer. When smoked through a bong I found the taste got a bit more cluttered and was harder to characterize the exact profile.
Experience
This batch of Orange Tingz from Pistol and Paris was part of lot number CC19JUL2022.001 with a package date of July 19 2022. I found this one delivered a euphoric, uplifting feeling, perfect for a day out with friends or chilling at home. However with a price at $41.98 for 3.5 grams, I can understand how many will consider this too pricey but the quality is very much there. Understandable why this cultivar has made Pistol and Paris the high-quality cannabis brand in addition to showcasing the fantastic talent of JBuds. One thing to note for lower tolerance consumers, given the potency you might want to go easier in the start as this one can come on strong.
