Smoking Thinnest King Size Rolling Papers Review

Smoking Brand's Thinnest King Size rolling papers are 20% thinner than competitors and were designed to maximize flavour.

Is your preference large rolling papers that are thin enough you can almost see through them?

If so, there’s a good chance you’re going to really like Smoking Thinnest King Size Rolling Papers. We already reviewed the 1 1/4 size of these papers and gave them a decent overall score. So let’s see how they stack up to other kings like Futurola’s King Size Slims or the lesser known Unbleached Kings from Greengo.

QUALITY OF CONSTRUCTION

Smoking’s king size thinnest arrived in the same style red booklet as the mediums except it was obviously longer.

Although these are quite a bit thinner then traditional products like Zig-Zag regulars, they’re sturdy enough to roll a joint without any issues as long as you pay attention and take your time. If you try to rush or pack too much then you’re going to get frustrated with how easily these papers tear.

The paper is a remarkable 11 g/m² (making it some of the thinnest on the market) and FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified to assure their paper only comes from responsibly managed forests with a focus on environmental, social and economic benefits.

EASE OF USE

Let’s address the potentially bad part first.

When you’re dealing with ultra thin paper you need to roll the joint with caution and care otherwise be prepared to get frustrated as you keep ripping the paper. It doesn’t take much to tear which is definitely going to annoy some rollers.

That being said, if you prefer maximizing the taste of the bud while reducing the paper flavour then you’re going to really like this product line from Smoking. But if you’re just learning how to roll then you might want to start with something thicker just to get some practice under your belt.

OVERALL VALUE

Smoking Paper’s Thinnest King Size are sold in cases of 50 booklets with each booklet containing 33 leaves.

Unfortunately you can’t order these directly from the manufacturer so you’ll need to check third party locations like Amazon. We hunted around and pretty quickly found cases for $49.99 USD plus shipping so expect to pay somewhere in that range.

If you prefer to use as thin of a paper as you can find then you’re going to love the Thinnest category by Smoking because it’s going to be hard to get rolling papers more lightweight then these.

Since high school my friends and I have been recreational cannabis users so we decided to start Merry Jade after legalization in 2019. We review and photograph the different products then share them on this website. The rating system we use is called “SAFE” which stands for Smell, Appearance, Flavour and Experience. Each category gets a score out of 10.
