Wedding Cake from Weed is an indica-dominant strain that was created by crossbreeding Cherry Pie with Girl Scout Cookies.
The end result was a dense, frosty flower known for producing a delicious fruity aroma with hints of berries. Weed Me grows this strain in small batches which are all manually hand harvested. Naturally we were intrigued. So how does this compare against competitors like Spinach’s Wedding Cake strain?

Smell
Tearing open the package and breaking the seal released a clear aroma of lemon, very similar to what a lemon pound cake smells like, also there was a hint of pine but very minimal.
Appearance
Wedding Cake holds its own with compacted boulder like, dark green speckled buds. The brown hairs are deeply interlaced within each bud and there’s a super light dusting of trichomes. The only issue was the dryness. The buds almost turned to dust in our hands and there was a decent amount of shake at the bottom of the bag.
Flavour
The smell and flavour go toe to toe in intensity which represent well. A smooth piney tastes is initially detected before being over-taken by a tart lemon flavor reminiscent of sweets.
Experience
A well rounded performance indeed. Ending the celebration on a strong clear minded high note allows one to function while enlightened with purpose. Just note the heavy or sleepy eyes feeling may make that purpose a good nap.
