MAC-1 is one of our favourite hybrids and was created by crossing Alien Cookies with Miracle 15.
However MAC 1 from Carmel is not just any plant. From what we could learn, this strain was pheno hunted until they found a specific flower that produced dense towers of frosty buds with colour patterns that blended greens, purples and frosty white. The smell is often compared to a creamy citrus followed by some powerful gas!
How does it compare to Carmel’s Animal Face or other versions of MAC-1?

Smell
The product arrived in a medium sized orange bag with zipper seal. Opening this bag instantly released a complex group of aromas including orange citrus and diesel. However this one definitely leans more towards the sweet side then pungent.
Appearance
We dumped our the bag contents and were pleased with what we saw. Carmel has done a great job trimming their dense and compact MAC 1 buds. The greens range from light to dark and even purple on the very tips Add in a light lacing of brown hairs and a delicate frosting of trichomes and you’ve got Carmel’s MAC-1. However just to be transparent nothing visually has compared to Citizen’s Stash MAC-1.
Flavour
The flavour profile and aroma are a lovely match. Upon inhaling you’re hit with a distinct citrus-heavy flavour followed by a moderate gassy or diesel aftertaste. MAC-1 always has a really enjoyable flavour and Carmel’s version is no exception.
Experience
MAC-1 from Carmel is a solid hybrid. This product delivers a very strong mental buzz that can make you feel slow with a reduced reaction time combined with a moderately powerful body buzz. As a result, this strain would be great when you want to kick back and relax. However if you’re interested in finding the best version of this strain we encourage you to check out Citizen Stash’s version (above) and also Edison’s MAC-1.

I agree with everything you said. Perfect review man! I have all the Mac 1’s in my stash. Carmel. Qwest reserve. Citizen. Edison. I got the variations macslurry And Macflurry.
You know which one is the best of all of them?
A Dec 20/2020 pack from Bold Growth. And that is up against April/July Edison, august Carmel, march/sept qwest, and sept citizen (or Aug but super recent). Dec 20 packed in a Mylar bag with no boveda. Needs rehydration. But all the tasty spacey airy goodness and this one hits like a truck. If you hate coughing, don’t touch it cause it go H.A.M. But I love all the different versions so it doesn’t really matter which direction you go. But the Bold is great and has the nicest color other than qwest.
Keep the reviews coming, my guy👌
