Space Cake from Color Cannabis is an indica-dominant strain created by crossing the popular GSC with Snow Lotus.
In terms of aroma and flavour profile, they describe it as a combination of sweet fruit and herbal berries. Color Cannabis also indicates the buds are dark green, sticky to the touch and frosty with a thick trichome layer. One thing to note is their use of nitrogen infused pouches which are suppose to lock-in freshness (we will see if this is true).
We’re curious how this stacks up to Color’s Black Sugar Rose.

Smell
The product arrived in a similar sized bag as previous Color products; however this one seemed to have much more nitrogen inside the bag as it was puffed up more than usual. After opening the resealable pouch, we had to deeply inhale a few times to detect the aroma which reminded us of a mild orange citrus with a light herbal pine note towards the end.
Appearance
We dumped out the contents and were not impressed with the appearance of the buds. There was a lot of excess stem, shake and leaf on all the buds. Although the trim job is very poor, there is what appears to be a nice layer of trichomes and the buds did have a sticky spongy feel at the tops but overall they were light and fluffy.
Flavour
Color’s Space Cake strain has a noticeable orange flavour upon inhale which was similar to the aroma, however on exhale there was more of a herbally orange rind. The taste is somewhat reminiscent of sugar-free orange gummy candies.
Experience
Listed with 23.8% THC content and a price tag of $27.50 for 3.5 grams we found Space Cake from Color Cannabis offered some value if you ignored it shaggy appearance (and mild aroma). The enjoyment of this product lies in appreciating the moderately strong yet relaxing body buzz that is combined with a moderate mental cloud making some thoughts fuzzy. Leaning much more physical than mental is consistent with an indica-dominant hybrid.
