8 Ball Kush is an indica-dominant cultivar that was created by crossing King Kush and Bubba Kush. We really enjoyed 18Twelve’s version of this strain but today we’re checking out some shatter.
It’s primary terpenes includes Caryophyllene and Humulene which produces a spicy collection of garden aromas including undertones of basil, oregano and rosemary. Shatterizer creates their products in Ontario using the highest-levels of tech and quality extraction methods.

The product arrived from Shatterizer in a black plastic bag with resealable zipper opening. We opened the package but couldn’t smell anything as the shatter was wrapped in a wax paper pouch. Even when the shatter was removed from this inner pouch we could not smell anything but once warmed up there is a mild hashy aroma.
The shatter looked great and reminds me of liquefied kief or a more solidified version of honey oil. A more common description for its appearance might be that it looks like a sheet of maple syrup and breaks apart like glass. As you can see in the photos 1 gram is about the size of a Canadian dollar.
The only flavour we noticed was a moderate strength earthy hashy oil taste that seemed to disappear and become weaker the more we smoked. It reminded us a bit of Natural History’s Meat Breath rosin from yesterday.
Listed for $34.95 for 1 gram, we found Shatterizer’s 8 Ball Kush delivered a very strong almost intense high that was heavily focused around the eyes while the mind was left clear yet slightly unfocused. We also noticed the high began very intensely (with the feeling of heaviness around the eyes) but faded to mild to moderate strength pretty quickly.
