Last month we reviewed Good Supply’s Grower’s Choice Sativa and thought it was a good product given the low price tag, so we felt today was a good time to check out Good Supply Growers Choice Indica.
One thing to note right off the bat is much like the Sativa, there is no description or indication as to what this strain is or a breakdown of the terpene profile. We only know what Good Supply shared on their website which isn’t much – high quality indica-dominant bud at a great price.
Priced at $21.50 for 3.5 grams, how does Grower’s Choice Indica compare to products like the popular Starwalker Kush from Good Supply?
Smell
Just like previous Good Supply products, their Grower’s Choice Indica strain arrived in a medium size neon green bag with resealable top. Opening the package released a very strong but brief aroma of musky flower pedals with a mild herbal undertone. There definitely seemed to be a Kush element to smell but identifying the exact strain was not possible.
Appearance
The buds were very bright green, very dry and popcorn size but also they were a little leafy, and dense with a nice smattering of orangish hairs throughout. There was a even layer of trichomes but these crystals were tough to see with the naked eye.
Flavour
There was no moisture shield included and given how dry the buds were, we expected the smoke to be quite harsh. When we took our first few tokes, the musky floral flavour was strong and present but then transformed into a subtle herbal taste. Although it was harsh towards the end, we found the smoke for the most part to be smoother then expected.
Experience
Grower’s Choice Indica by Good Supply is a good overall product when you consider the low price point. Although the buds were very dry it delivered a strong high including a fully body buzz combined with a feeling of mental relaxation. If you’re looking for a low cost Indica that does the job and you’re not worried about the strain, then you might want to check this product out. We actually preferred this strain over Good Supply’s Sour Kush.
