Queen of Bud’s Blue Topaz is the name given to their Temple Kush strain.
Temple Kush is an indica-dominant flower that was created by crossing Nepalese Hashplant with the classic landrace strain Hindu Kush. It’s known for having high a THC percentage in addition to sweet herbal aromas mixed with flavours like earth, liquorice and a touch of gassy diesel.
We’re curious to see how this PRJ compares to competitors like BLK MKT’s Upside Down Cake PRJ or The Flav PRJ from Hiway… both of which we recently reviewed in pre-roll format.

Smell
We popped the cap off the doob tube and were instantly greeted with a strong herbal fragrance that included a spicy diesel undertone towards the end. The aroma on this one smelled great and we couldn’t wait to light them up.
Appearance
The pre-rolled joints came packaged in a black cardboard box that featured the strain name and type. Inside the box we found a plastic tube with some additional information such as lineage, package date, terpene percentage and breakdown. In the tube we found 2 beautifully rolled 0.5 gram pre-rolls. Rolled with white papers and white tips, they are the perfect size for sharing with a friend or a solo sesh to get faded.
Flavour
The flavour profile had a distinct perfume element with hints of sweet diesel, a sweet spunk and funk with a strong floral taste means that a lot of users are going to enjoy this one. Definitely one of the more flavourful and best tasting strains we’ve had so far.
Experience
Listed with 23.5% THC content and a price tag of $16.95 for 2 half gram pre-rolled joints, we found Queen of Bud’s Blue Topaz produced a wave of full body relaxation starting with the face and eventually tingling its way down through our back and toes. Perfect for getting ready for bed, it switches off the mind and turns on sleep mode with ease. Hands down this is one of our top 5 on the recreational market and it definitely could be one of yours too. Big shout out to the team behind Blue Topaz and Queen of Bud brand on the whole. Great flower just be prepared to pay the premium price.
