So what do you get when cross a Trophy Wife with some Ghost OG?
You end up with a potent hybrid strain with the undeniable aroma of pine, diesel, and lemony citrus. Ex-Wife from Qwest is suppose to both pack a punch and deliver a strong sense of feeling balanced and totally relaxed. This sounds great but how does it really perform?
NOTE: We just reviewed Qwest Reserve’s Point Break strain if you’re curious about their premium level products.
However check our Ex-Wife review, rating and photos below.
Smell
The product arrived in a double layer of packaging. First the cardboard box then the inner plastic container. Opening the container a quite strong smell that reminded us of that classic/old school skunky pine. The term boldness and pungent comes to mind when thinking about cannabis back in the day. This one definitely has that aroma.
Appearance
Qwest’s Ex-Wife is very beautiful looking bud with bright green leaves highlighted with a few dark green specks. With zesty looking orange-brass hairs these buds come complete with a light touch up layer of trichomes. Qwest included a moisture pack/terpene shield which definitely kept the bud fresh.
Flavour
Here we have something very enjoyable though difficult to express. The flavour is very strong and smooth but bold, like in your face bold. You definitely pick up flavours that include diesel, pine (heavy on the pine) and some citrus undertones but very mild.
Experience
Listed with 26.6% THC content, we found Ex-Wife from Qwest was a great product but it comes at a really high cost (much like their Banana OG hybrid). This is one of the more expensive products we’ve reviewed so far. The high is broken up between a really strong mental buzz, making you feel slow and a bit sleepy with a moderately strong body buzz. Overall Qwest’s Ex-Wife will leave you feeling relaxed but it comes at price.
