Redecan’s Outlaw is a sativa-dominant strain that was created by crossing Amnesia with Super Haze.
This flower is known for having an aroma and flavour profile that combines fruity citrus with herbal earthiness. Which is not surprising when you realize it’s dominant terpenes include Alpha-Bisabolol, Humulene, Limonene and Myrcene. Redecan describes Outlaw’s high as coming on fast but levelling out to an uplifting, clear-headed buzz. We reviewed Outlaw from Thumbs Up Brand earlier this year and thought it was good… so how does Redecan’s version compare?

Smell
Like previous Redecan products, this one arrived in a cardboard box with a plastic container inside. The double packaging feels excessive. We popped the lid off and were met with a sweet musky aroma that had subtle fruity undertones. Not the strongest smelling version of this strain we’ve encountered but still very pleasing and what you’d expect from Outlaw.
Appearance
Unfortunately Redecan did not include a humidity shield inside the container so the flower dried out a bit. The buds were approximately marble sized or smaller, quite dry but also very dense and hard. Some buds had long stems but just a few. However the trichome layer looked generous and there was copious amounts of brown hairs.
Flavour
We’re familiar with this strain and had a certain flavour in mind which was delivered with a nice surprise. Redecan’s Outlaw leads with a citrusy taste that evolves into a sweet musky fruity which matches the aroma and tastes as good as it sounds. Although as nice as this product tasted, we can only wonder how much it could be improved by including a humidity pack inside the container.
Experience
Outlaw from Redecan is a solid sativa with a sweet musky aroma and flavour. Listed with 19.5% THC content and a price tag of $24.95 for 3.5 grams, we found this strain delivered a strong high that included a relaxed body feeling with an equal cloudy mind sensation. Depending on your tolerance this one might be better for end of day chilling instead of wake and bake. But given the reasonable price, nice flavour and enjoyable high you might want to check this one out. As of writing this review, so far we prefer Redecan’s Black Cherry Punch the most and in terms the least… that would still have to be their God Bud strain.
