The Original Fraser Valley Weed Co D Burger Review

D.Burger from Fraser Valley Weed Co. is a very strong indica with a pungent aroma and over 24% THC content.

The Original Fraser Valley Weed Co D Burger is an indica-dominant strain that was created by crossing the popular GMO with Han Solo Burger.

This flower is described as having dense, bright green buds that are covered with clumps of orange hairs. Fraser Valley also indicated the aroma was a mixture of pungent gas and garlic – they compared it to grilled cheese with an extra helping of garlic.

Let’s see how this compares to Fraser Valley’s MAC 1 or the GMO Cookies strain.

Smell

The product arrived from Fraser Valley in a medium sized red plastic bag with resealable zipper opening. The package only listed the dominant terpenes as being Myrcene and Caryophyllene. We cracked open the seal and detected a very soft floral smell almost right away. This was accompanied by secondary aroma that was difficult to discern at first, but actually reminded us of something like mushrooms with a subtle garlic and rye bread undertone.

Appearance

Pouring out the contents we noted there were many buds of different sizes but unfortunately no humidity package was included. From tiny nugs right up to mediums and couple of larger ones, we found this flower had a dense compact nature with a few dark orange hairs popping out of the dense multi-green backdrop. Each bud was well trimmed exposing a trichome layer that is generally thin but has a few thicker patches.

Flavour

After rolling up a joint and smoking, we determined the flavour profile did reflect the aroma. With a more dominate lean to the rye bread crust on inhale, the taste carried a faint floral note which fades quickly. However on exhale we encountered a curious and unusual notes that are honestly surprising. Exhaling literally felt like having a bite of a luke-warm McDonald’s burger bun in your mouth with just a touch of onions and garlic.

Experience

Our bag was part of lot 02253 with a package date of August 24, 2022. Listed with 24.1% THC content and a price tag of $99.95 for 28 grams, we felt Fraser Valley’s D.Burger offered great value considering it cost under a hundred dollars. While the aroma and flavour profiles were enjoyable we know for certain it will not appeal to all users especially if you’re preference is sweet tasting weed. The effect we experienced were a mild calm mental vibe with moderately strong body tingles which affected the whole body in a comforting way. Another solid entry from Fraser Valley at a very reasonable price although we still prefer their MAC 1.

Since high school my friends and I have been recreational cannabis users so we decided to start Merry Jade after legalization in 2019. We review and photograph the different products then share them on this website. The rating system we use is called “SAFE” which stands for Smell, Appearance, Flavour and Experience. Each category gets a score out of 10.
