Black Sugar Rose was created by crossing Critical Mass and Black Domina.
Color Cannabis describes this cultivar as having high amounts of THC, dark green buds that are densely coated in amber trichomes accented with bright orange pistils. The dominant terpenes are listed as beta-caryophyllene, myrcene, and limonene, which combine to give it a unique earthy and floral with a hint of toasted sugar. This sounds good but how does it compare to other indica’s like Color’s Space Cake?

The product arrived in a red medium sized back with resealable top. After opening the bag and breathing deeply, a strong smell that reminded us of granulated sugar mixed with fresh cut flowers. The aroma was quite heavy but very enjoyable.
Such stunning buds came out of this bag. See the photos below and you’ll notice the buds were all solid and dense plus saturated in orangey hairs. Each bud was topped off with a light trichome dusting. Visually it’s a close match to what Color Cannabis described.
As hinted at by our nostrils when breathing in the aroma of this bud, the flavour nicely fulfils its name with a sweet yet light floral taste. It was not overpowering but very pleasant. Everyone here enjoyed the flavour but wished it was a bit stronger.
Listed with 18.7% THC content and a price tag of $27.50 for 3.5 grams, we found Black Sugar Rose from Color Cannabis was a flavourful strain that delivered a strong, glassy-eyed inducing high which included a mild mental fog that was mentally relaxing. Everything you want when stopping to smell or enjoy this rose.
